Local Mission

As Christians, we believe that every aspect of our lives is an opportunity to visibly demonstrate the power and values of the Kingdom of God.  We live lives that are on mission, to be Christ's ambassadors and proclaim the message of the cross to all our spheres of influence:  starting at home and emanating outward to our world.

As a church, we have strategically chosen local missions to fund to continue kingdom work in our valley.  These ministries are:

Madison House - Located in downtown Yakima, this old school house has been renovated to become an incredible beacon of hope for children in desperate situations.
Life Choices - Dedicated to promoting respect for life and healthy life decisions.
Union Gospel Mission -  Providing Christ-centered rescue, recovery and restoration to men, women and children in need.
Habitat for Humanity - Seeking to put God’s love into action, Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Trailseekers - Trailseekers is a Christian program geared for younger kids facing early life challenges.
Young Life - Sharing the truth of God’s love with adolescents.
Ghormley Meadow Christian Camp - located in the Cascade mountains near Rimrock Lake in White Pass with a 12 month per year vi brant evangelical outreach ministry to youth and various Christian guest groups.
